The results will be announced possibly before the end of the year, as stated Wednesday by architect Dorys Cotilla, president of the architectural society of the Union of Architects and Construction Engineers of Cuba (Unaicc) in the capital.

The selection was made over several years and comes from a pool of 76 establishments or main roads identified by prestigious experts, including the Castle of the Three Kings of Morro and the fortress of San Carlos de La Cabaña, the buildings of Focsa and Bacardí, the art schools, the universities of Havana, seen as an architectural ensemble, and the Cujae, as well as El Prado Promenade and 5th Avenue.

Such a difficult classification, given the quality of the proposals, is the responsibility of architects from this province and the objective of Unaicc at the national level is that the rest of the territories carry out a similar election, because all Cuba treasures works of great value in architecture and urban planning.
