The preparations for the 25th Annual Meeting of the Sao Paulo Forum, to be held in Caracas in July, were addressed at the meetings, the newspaper noted.
Granma emphasized that Raul Castro repeated Cuba’s firm support for the Venezuelan people and government, Constitutional President Nicolas Maduro Moros and the civic-military union in the South American nation.
In a subsequent press briefing, Cabello described the meeting as special and said that issues related to the integration between Cuba and Venezuela in the context of the US attacks on both nations in its efforts to overthrow the Cuban and Bolivarian revolutions were discussed.
Given this situation, we understand that we should be united, because we have a very powerful enemy in common, stated Cabello, who is also the vice president of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV).
Local digital media, radio and television reported on the meeting between Cuban leaders and Diosdado Cabello, who was also received by the speaker of the National People’s Power Assembly (Parliament), Esteban Lazo. (Taken from Prensa Latina)
