On November 15 and 16, 2014 it was held the new summit of the G-20, in the Australian city of Brisbane. The priority was to analyze how to promote the growing of the world’s economy, employment and improving of the global bank system. In this forum there were 19 countries (Argentina, Australia, Brazil, United Kingdom, Germany, India, Indonesia, Italy, Canada, China, Mexico, South Korea, Russia, Saudi Arabia, United States, Turkey, France, South Africa, Japan), and the European Union as economical block- There was also Spain as permanent guest.

During the meeting, the leaders from BRICS (Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa expressed their deception for the non fulfillment of the regulations from the International Monetary Fund. They stressed that the penning on July 2014 of an agreement for the creation of a Developing Bank and a Reserve Fund, deepens the collaboration in this group with about 200 billion dollars.

In the mist of possible sanctions against Russia, the German chancellor, Angela Merkel call the western countries to dialogue despite the disagreements with Ukraine, crisis that was mentioned in bilateral meetings.

In this sense, western sources referred to the alleged isolation by Vladímir Putin and Russia in the meeting, however, the intents of pressure failed. Then, the President said they debated the issues proposed and the matter related to the accident of the Malaysian aircraft.

The final document of the summit included the topic of the vulture funds and the need to strengthen the processes of restructuration of the tremendous debts. Unease that Argentina expressed last year at the lack of support to face the speculative funds.

According to reports, they agreed more than 800 measures to promote the global economy, they passed a plan to impulse the GDP in a 2,1 percent, to more than 2 billion dollars applicable in five years, which will be invested in the infrastructure and promotion of commerce. Likewise, they will try to reduce in 25 percent, for 2015, the breach between men and women, and the disadvantage as labor force. It is hoped the projects will bring millions of employments.

Representatives from G-20 made the commitment to work in favor to the fiscal transparency, support the actions to face the weather change and make international efforts to eradicate Ebola.

Experts consider that the in current circumstances, it is difficult for G-20 to reach a consensus to make deep changes that will help have a better world and more equitable; the solution can emerge in initiatives       like BRICS. So, it is no strange that in the Summit     held in 2013, they also dealt with the need to speed the recovery of the global economy, generate more growth and employments, priority topics that were reviewed this year too.
