The choir from the National Academy of Singing Mariana de Gonitch will perform a great program to celebrate the Cuban Culture Day, the general director of the company, Hugo Osle informed.
The presentations will start at the Cuban Friendship Institute (ICAP), on October 12 at 2:00 p.m., with a concert to pay tribute to the Cuban actress Corina Mestre in her 60th birthday.
On October 14, they will perform at Casa del Alba at 5:00 p.m., to the hand over the replica of the Caridad del Cobre Virgin, the Cuban Mistress, to the embassy of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela.
The young singers will perform in the international activity against cancer sponsored by the Cuban Ministry of Public Health with the concert Alas por la vida, to be held on October 16 at 10:00 a.m., at Mella Theater.
Likewise, they will participate in the Cantata for the Cuban Five and Peace on October 17 at 3:00 p.m., at the Communist Party High School Ñico Lopez, while on the 18 they will do it at the Cultural Association Yoruba at 2:00 p.m., to pay tribute to the maestro Digna Guerra, National Award of Music.
Osle also announced that on October 20 at 3:00 p.m., at Casa del Alba, the choir of the Academy will offer the concert Patria mía (My Homeland) to celebrate the 85th birthday of the combatant Asela de los Santos.
