According to Zenaibis Leyva Domínguez, member of the Secretariat of the Workers’ Central Union of Cuba (CTC) in this southeastern region, in the midst of the complex panorama that the country is going through, with the aggressiveness of the new Yankee government and its attempts to bend us with suffocating measures, it corresponds to the collective search for initiatives to revitalize the economy.
According to the leader, in this traditional process of presenting the plan and the budget to the workers, the debates must be about ideas for the fulfillment of physical productions and what has been agreed in terms of exports and import substitution, savings in its broadest spectrum, as well as the fight against crime.
Leyva Morales added that it will also be an opportunity to discuss employment and salary policies, with an emphasis on the search for relocation alternatives for those who have been interrupted, the distribution of profits, payment for high performance, and anything else that may be of interest to members who bring plans and budgets to a successful conclusion.
The member of the CTC Secretariat in Santiago de Cuba emphasized that the presentation should be made in a language that can be understood by both the member with extensive professional training and the less qualified workers.
Prior to this moment, preparatory processes have been carried out for grassroots trade union leaders, in the hope that the coming occasion, in the year of the 22nd Congress, will have the necessary impact.
