The main world markets of the travel industry have their sights set on the fulfillment next week of the 38th International Tourism Fair of Cuba (FITCuba 2018).
Executives of travel agencies, tour operators, airlines and executives of firms associated with the leisure industry see FITCuba 2018 as a particular opportunity to enlarge their offers, whether or not they are represented at that meeting.

Hence, the Cuban Tourism Minister, Manuel Marrero, told the Italian digital newspaper TTC that the island is experiencing a growing international appeal in recent years.

He even explains such criterion by recalling that at the end of 2017 the island managed to assist about 4.7 million foreign visitors, for a rise of 16 percent in that section.

He said that all this happened despite the damage caused by Hurricane Irma in early September and campaigns of certain media about the flow of visitors.

Now some of his colleagues assured they maintain the idea that Cuba can close this 2018 with the attention to five million foreign visitors, which would be a record and symbol of the boom in the sector.

The fair will be dedicated (May 2-5, Key Santa Maria, Villa Clara) to the sun and beach modality, and the guest country of honor will be the United Kingdom, which appears among the top 10 markets to this archipelago having dynamic growth. (Taken from Prensa Latina)
