The level of organization and actions resulting from its debates guarantee as of today the success of the second Central American meeting of Solidarity with Cuba,to be held in El Salvador this week.
Fernando Gonzalez, president of the Cuban Institute of Solidarity with the Peoples, shared with Radio Maya Vision station his confidence that the event will strengthen regional dialogue and raise the level of consensus on issues of common interest.
‘This will be a successful event that will contribute to the understanding of the solidarity role in these important moments, with a movement that does not ignore the regional context,’ the also Hero of the Republic of Cuba said.
The meeting will ratify the Latin American support for the Bolivarian Revolution and the democratically elected government of President Nicolas Maduro, as well as other processes attacked by the rightwing with imperialist support, he said.
This event will be held on July 27-29 to discuss regional actions of support to Cuba and its Revolution, as well as exchange criteria on how to face the current Latin American challenges.
The program includes a march from the central Simon Bolivar Park to the Jose Marti Square, to evoke the attack on the Moncada Garrison, on July 26, 1953, an action that is considered the driving force behind the Cuban Revolution.
The meeting, whose main debates will be held at the Studies Center in El Salvador, will conclude with a resolution on the integration of the peoples of Central America in their effort to show solidarity with Cuba. (Taken from Prensa Latina)
