Army General Raúl Castro Ruz, first secretary of the Communist Party of Cuba Central Committee and President of the Councils of State and Ministers, led the final ceremonial guard honoring Comandante en Jefe Fidel Castro Ruz at the José Martí Memorial, in Havana’s Plaza de la Revolución.
Accompanying compañero Raúl in this solemn moment was Communist Party of Cuba Second Secretary, José Ramón Machado Ventura; Comandante of the Revolution, Ramiro Valdés Menéndez; and First Vice President of the Councils of State and Ministers, Miguel Díaz-Canel Bermúdez.
Today at 7pm, a massive public political-cultural act will held in the Plaza de la Revolución, where Havana residents will come to pay their last respects to the undefeated Comandante, on behalf of the entire nation. (Taken from en.granma.cu)
