In a visit to Input (Domestic Appliances Industry), Ulises Guilarte de Nacimiento, secretary general of the Cuban Workers Federation (CTC) highlighted that the participation of the workers is decisive to reach the 4 percent economic growth in the economy of 2015.
He noted there are better conditions that will help fulfil this task in the planning and stressed it is important to guarantee employment to make good use of the human resources, produce more and increase wages.
He said the union most take good action in the economic scenario of the enterprise system and those self-employees too, which it is foreseen will increase, so they should become members of the Federation. In that sense all should participate in the updating of the Cuban economic model.
He was together with Consuelo Baeza, secretary general of the CTC in Villa Clara province and made a tour to the ensemble area of the industry and observed the quality of the elaboration. He also met with the leaders of the industry and Marisel Montero, its manager said they pretend to introduce new lines. She also explained the favorable implementation of Resolution 17.
This enterprise from Villa Clara will produce this year traditional pressure cookers as well as electric ones – either those to cook rice or the multipurpose ones-, drinking fountains, plastic pots, refrigerators, fans, spare parts for cooking appliance sets, outlets, sinks, coffee pots and other branches elaborated with recovered raw materials which will favors their added value.
