“Teachers have been and are the bastion of the Cuban Revolution. I wish you all the greatest successes in life and work”. This message was sent to our redaction to all the teachers by Jose Ramon Fernandez adviser of the President of the Council of States and Ministers for the celebration this December 22, of the Day of the Educator.
The ministers of Education, Enna Elsa Velazquez and High Education, Rodolfo Alarcon as well, sent their congratulations and at the same time the secretary general of the Cuban Union of Education, Science and Sports, Ismael Drullet.
The texts recognize that the activities to homage them evokes the fighting spirit of such heroic months when Cuba claimed for the Illiteracy Campaign, a heroic deed of singular value, which cost the life of generous martyrs.
The commitment of the teachers grows in front of the challenges of the 21st century and the Revolution trusts on you because the future of the Homeland is in your hands.
Likewise, it is worth recognizing the devotion of the Cuban teachers who from the different education entities either inside Cuba or abroad, highlight the conquests of our educational system.
