This was not another simple Sunday for the Cuban economy, because a bit before noon- even thought there was forecasted it was going to rain and temperatures will drop-, more than 2,000 exhibitors of about 60 countries who are making businesses at Expocuba facilities, the best way to improve the commercial links, mainly on investment projects the country is exposing the world.
The current 32nd International Fair of Havana is the one having the most participation in the last 12 years, as it was informed in his opening address by Rodrigo Malmierca, Cuban minister of Foreign Commerce and Investments, “what shows the consolidation of the event m its prestige, and above all, the trust of the economic partners in the future of businesses in Cuba.”
The minister stressed he was convinced that the foreign currency should play its important role in the Cuban efforts for development and said that the updating of the Cuban economic model advances, and at the same time it has gone into a qualitatively superior phase, with a greater reflect in the planning and the separation of the functions of the State and the enterprises.
Malmierca announced on Sunday, November 2 the official presentation of the stock portfolios of investment projects by branches, including the Special Zone of Development from Mariel and said that in each activity – until the closing of the Fair next November 8-, there are foreseen actions to promote foreign currency in concrete objectives.
