Fifty Years of the Cuban School Games

The 50^th edition of the Cuban National School Games held on Sunday, July 6 at Ciudad Deportiva Stadium with the handing in of a special award to the historical leader of the Cuban Revolution Fidel Castro Ruz, main author and leader of these games in the sports movement

Miguel Diaz-Canel, member of the Political Bureau and first deputy president of the Councils of State and Ministers presided over the ceremony where there was also awarded Jose Ramon Fernandez, official from the Cuban Olympic Committee for his devotion in this event.

In this edition will participate 6, 320 athletes in 32 sports and there will also participate delegations from Mexico, Peru, Dominican Republic, Venezuela and Guatemala.
