I do not know all the ways in which the various economic agents try to cover up the misdeeds, even criminal ones, that they are committing today because of the inflationary and stifling sea in which the national economy is evolving; nor do I know the exact amount of underreporting, let us say, at the national level, but I do know that the government is losing millions of pesos… as well as those of us who have access to these units.

Although state institutions are obliged to close every loophole that can be violated, this purpose is not even remotely achieved. The number of places where the rules are violated with total impunity is enormous, such as facilitating the use of mobile payment gateways that leave a trace and with which a bonus is obtained.

On the one hand, there is the economic actor who clings to his wrongdoing, and on the other hand, there are the institutions – mainly banks – who explain, persuade, about the ways in which the client has to pay; but the truth is that illegality continues to grow dangerously, whether in any of the cafeterias, in many restaurants, and in places where self-employed workers, MSMEs, and even state centers, market products and offer services.

Meanwhile, the burden is on the shoulders of the budget, whether public or private, and the client is forced into an absurd controversy that could lead to unforeseen consequences.

Those who violate what is established literally force the consumer to use the formula that best suits the owners. No online payment and therefore no bonus for the buyer. The money goes to a strange personal account, not a tax account, which many, including the undersigned, consider a scam.

Sometimes they force everything to be paid in cash, giving completely unreasonable reasons, but in the end they convince a customer who, overwhelmed by the heat, the queues and the very likely walks, concludes that it is better to pay as they demand and go home.

Certainly, the consumer must be the first defender of his rights, but his primary objective is precisely to buy. He does not think much about how to do it, whether online, whether in cash, whether with bonus or not, and he forgets or discards to demand.

The violator sometimes displays for all to see the QR code that is being used to deceive the consumer.

It seems that those in charge of enforcing the law turn a blind eye to what the perpetrator intuitively knows. I have a feeling that if he had the knowledge that he would lose everything if he got caught, then he would sing a different tune.
