Cargando...Army General Raúl Castro Ruz, First Secretary of the Communist Party of Cuba Central Committee, received Admiral Miao Hua on Thursday morning, a member of the Central Military Commission of the People’s Republic of China, and director of its Political Work Department, as well as the delegation accompanying him on an official visit to Cuba, invited by the Ministry of the Revolutionary Armed Forces.
During the fraternal meeting, the excellent relations of friendship shared by the two countries’ Parties, governments, peoples, and armed forces were reaffirmed.
The meeting was also attended by the members of the Political Bureau and Army Corps Generals Leopoldo Cintra Frías and Álvaro López Miera, minister and first deputy minister of the FAR, chief of the General Staff, respectively. (Taken from en.granma.cu)
