About 685 cheap hotels with more than 840 rooms for rent have increased in the Cuban province of Sancti Spiritus, most of them from Trinidad, owned by self-employees in tourism, Escambray website reported.

Currently, tourist offers in the private branch has multiplied in Trinidad City, which is pretty welcomed by foreign visitors. So far this year, more than the 13 percent of the accommodations have been in cheap hotels from self-employees in tourism, with about 96,750 tourists; 11,350 more compared to 2012.

Rooms for rent have reached the figure of 840 to cover the growing demand. Most of them are located in Trinidad City, distinguished by its diversity of offers, comfort, and personal treatment that includes the least details to have the tourists return.

On the other hand, the influx of Cuban tourists to these kinds of hotels in the province has a steady increase during this season. It exceeded the 17 percent since the special offers sold by the hotels from the territory in summer.

Most of the tourists coming to Cuba qualify the service as Good, with a 4,10 from 5 of satisfaction.

The Minister of Tourism forecasts a substantial increase of tourists in November coming from Canada, the United Kingdom, France, Spain and Germany.
