In the south-eastern part of the country, since the call for the event was issued on March 9, several actions have been carried out, including volunteer work in organoponic and productive poles, which guarantee part of the food supply of the population.

Also noteworthy are the meetings held in the work centers and with the leaders of this mass organization, one of the largest in the country, to consolidate the necessary efforts to resist the current economic, financial and resource crisis caused by the intensification of the hostile policies maintained by the U.S. government against the Cuban people.

During these days, the emulation controls will also take place and the most outstanding collectives will continue to be awarded the status of National Distinguished. So far, those who work in the Provincial Directorate of the Banco Popular de Ahorro and the Public Prosecutor’s Office have been honored.
