Several activities are being carried out in the province of Ciego de Avila in honor of the 86th anniversary of the constitution of the Central de Trabajadores de Cuba (CTC), to be held on the 28th of this month, whose provincial act will be held in the municipality of Baraguá, for obtaining the best results in 2024, in the union operation and management behavior of productive entities, political, mass and governmental organizations.
The program includes volunteer work in food production areas, days dedicated to blood donation, beautification of work centers, and special mornings to commemorate the anniversary of the organization, which is intensifying its preparations for the Provincial Conference to be held in February, before the final national meetings of its 22nd Congress, scheduled for next April.
Caridad Carrera Martínez, from the Beverages and Soft Drinks Company; Misleidys Sánchez Llanes, from the Educational Supplies and Services Company; Paulino Pérez Viera, from the Building Materials Industry; Eliecer Cervantes Sesín, from the Basic Agricultural Projects Business Unit; and Luis Pérez Vargas, from the Artex Branch, all members of the Vanguardias Nacionales Collective, will participate as direct delegates. The list will be completed by Mirtha González Fernández, from the Specialized Protection Services Business Unit, and Dayalis Pardo Martínez, from the Bioplants Center.
Another 31 delegates were elected to represent their respective unions, and the elections will continue to complete the delegation from Ciego de Avila, which will include 44 participants with outstanding work histories and achievements in union activity.
The commemoration of the 86th anniversary of the CTC has as its main action, between January and February, the assemblies of affiliates and representatives for the presentation of the plan of the economy and the budget for the current year, in the work centers of the territory of Avila.
