Regarding the 14th session of the Conference of the Parties (COP-14) of the United Nations Convention to Fight Desertification, which took place in India, the FAO Land and Water Officer said it was quite successful
‘We know that land degradation is an aggravating issue due to the effects of climate change,’ Boerger added.
The weather is increasingly causing greater damage, as happened recently in the Bahamas, added the Uruguayan expert with extensive experience in Latin American and Caribbean countries such as Panama and Chile.
