Cuban Revolution leader Fidel Castro met on Monday with the President of the Association of National Olympic Committees (ACNO) His Highness Prince Ahmad Al-Fahad Al-Sabah.
Tuesday’s edition of Granma newspaper publishes photos of the meeting at Fidel’s home, in Havana.
The distinguished visitor arrived Sunday in the Cuban capital where he was welcomed by the president of the Cuban Olympic Committee Jose Ramon Fernandez and the president of the Cuban Sports Institute Antonio Becali.
Prince Ahmad Al-Fahad praised Cuba’s sports development and toured Havana’s Antidoping Lab, where he learned of the high scientific rigor of that institution, according to the paper.
The distinguished visitor also held meetings with different sports officials and visited Havana’s Latinoamericano stadium. (Taken from Cuban News Agency)
