Jorge Alonso, a Valencian attached to the Cuban rum for more than 15 years bets to consolidate in this XXXI International Fair of Havana (FIHAV 2013), the new image of Legendario Rum brand launched to the world for about two years.
“Cexval S.A.” enterprise trades this product beyond the Cuban geography and has Legendario as the only adventure with sparkling beverages. Perhaps Alonso, in his struggle between American oak barrels, aged beverages and letters has acknowledged phrases and concepts talking about his attachment to his job as if it were a pretty woman, which does not mean his devotion for rum, but for the Cubans’ way of life.
We want to sell future, hope, to take to the world all the Cuban people has inside, he said.
This new bottle did not emerge just like this. Cuba is intricately its image, Luis Ortega, director of the enterprise Beverages and Soft Drinks from Havana said.
The bottle resembles the Real Palm tree; the level reminds the ring of the tobacco and its bottom recalls a baseball bat.
Last year, Legendario rum factory, located in Calzada del Cerro, in Havana exported more than 430 containers of this product to Spain, mainly of the Cuban Elixir, the most wanted exportations of the emblematic Cuban brand.
This year, exportations decreased to a bit more than 200 containers (each with a capacity of 2,240 boxes of 6 bottles) due to the logical problems derived from the economic crisis living the European country, Ortega said.
On Saturday, November 9 is scheduled the presentation of the new image at Morro-Cabaña Historical Military Park at night.
